Is it engine out to just replace the filler neck?

 

do you mean the neck pipe? if so, how small are your hands?

i meant you can change the pipe if you're flexible and can fit your hand in the "paint can lid"

 

wow time is going fast, I don't know if am up for this engine job lol. needs to be done though and see what's what
of my engine. Having trouble just ticking over now and it doesn't sound to clever. lets hope I can get there under
its own steam or is that smoke lol.

I'm going to try and get there Friday early afternoon as well.

 

Type 4 engine - is it easy enough to replace oil cooler seals - might give that a go, along with fan oil seal thingy.... @Lardy can help you are still going right

 

Friday around 11am-12 so will be ready to make a start, all the help is needed thank you rickyrooo1.

 

You will have it out, stripped & half rebuilt by the time we arrive then

@vdub brvs i'm no expert myself but it's only 4 bolts......... and it will make a change to do something worthwhile on the friday.

the firewood is coming along well but there's a fair bit of "spitty" pallet wood so if anyone has a few good logs that would help the cause.

 

I can possibly help with some logs will see if I can get a big bag to put them in, we will hopefully be there Friday afternoon I can bring a timing light to do your timing if you want Rick?

 

i think zed was bringing his light but feel free to bring yours incase he forgets or summat

 

I have a basic light & @Baysearcher loaned me his light last time which was a real nice bit of kit but I really want to get the advance mark put on my pulley so I can check it with my standard light so will need to get some tipex

 

I've got a dustbin full of logs and a firepit that I'm bringing......
