  2. Can someone tow me there from Cockermouth? And then fiks my engine :)

  3. Pretty sure you will have a 12 volt connector up front. It looks like a cig lighter socket but smaller. Just need an adapter OR swap it out for a cig lighter one

  5. Hey man I love it here. It's the lakes but without all the knobs in nylon trousers and walking boots pretending they're mountaineers!

  6. If your needing sat nag before then wire a cig or USB port up front off an ignition feed for it

I think I will be coming - I got clearance to go back in April.

I will not be making a dyno out of a spare four wheel trailer, despite describing it in the past.

I dont have any specific things to do on my own bus while there, but who knows what will break. Techenders is about 1000 miles of driving in my bus from now.

I will bring along electronics/electrical measuring kit and soldering iron, also the usual toolkit with big spanners, pullers, hammer, jack, stands etc.

I might do the front ball joints, if the big bit of plywood in the skip at work is still there when I go to raid it.

  16. I had a friend who lived in Cockwood in Devon, although the posh people from there pronounced it "Cockood"' but it made me giggle every time!

  18. I'll hopefully be there too. And if @Lasty gets some fabric sorted, may bring the sewing machines and attempt the weekend curtain making again. Could do with advice on what I need to charge the batteries from hook-up too. Was worried this weekend about having the radio running :/

    Morning Gents!
I'll check what I have in the way of electrics over the weekend, but I think it goes a little something like this:

    240 Hook-up:
240 volt inlet in top of offside rear corner
Cable to consumer unit containing 2 x rcb
Cable to 2 240v sockets (removed)
    Cable to Fridge

    12 volt leisure:
    Battery
Wiring across top of engine bay (seems to be disconnected)
Presumably a split charge relay (likely to be disconnected since engine swap?)
Wire to 6 way fuse board under bed
12 volt feed to my fridge (not from leisure circuit as it pre-dates this)

    What I want:
240 and 12 volt feeds to fridge
Ideally my stereo fed from leisure battery
Some lights fed from leisure battery
    2 x 240v sockets
Maybe one of these new fangled USB charger points

I really have no idea what to buy apart from the sockets.....
