    5. @@Baysearcher I'm in. Anyone good with electrics? I need to rewire my 240 volt sockets and put in some 12 volt wiring. I literally don't know where to start, so anyone willing to show me the way, can be assured of being kept in cider. Any volunteers?
    Oh, I need to look at my brakes too.

As I shall have my electricatitty stuff with me I can lend a hand with @@Baysearcher 's wiring if needed (sorry no good with brakes)
    8. @@geordieandy Not sure if I will have anything to work on but might try and buy a solar panel kit beforehand so I can get advice how best to fit it as well as bringing lots of grog and a blanket in case I fall asleep in a camping chair :)

    The Mini Robo's somehow got invited into the adult enclosure Saturday afternoon, I later found out this was due to them having bribed the man on the door with cheesy wotsits and doritos complete with dip! I got to hoover up the crumbs later :eek:

    Pretty much as has been said here @Baysearcher so go have a look on ebay at what you want! From what you have said you have got the socket on outside of van, cable running to a consumer unit which I presume is all ok or are you looking to replace everything?

    12volt stuff I pressume your running off a leisure battery? In which case you could do with getting a 4 or 8 way 12v fuse box, something you can run a single chunky 12v cable into & then feed off to socket & lighting as required with a suitable fuse!

    Are you then also looking at fitting a charger linked to the 240v hook-up which will top up the leisure when hooked up?

    I may have the odd 12v socket & a house style single socket to do it on the cheap but if you want it looking nice then go for those fancy sockets like I has in me T5 :thumbsup:

    I am hoping to come tho we are a ping the previous weekend and off to Spain the following so may have to pretend I'm nipping out for a pint of milk!

    I shall likely not be doing much, unless Mr mgb man is there to shame me into doing more on the upkeep of my van :)
