not sure if it would fit you would need to go on the gene berg website and put the details of your van in and you should end up with a code, I've just checked the instruction sheet and the code for my van is GB 6748 ; 6750 : BUS 4-SPEED SHIFTER obviously if yours is the same then it'll fit. Hope this helps

 

i'll try and load some pics up tomorrow, i'm pretty sure i upgraded to stainless ball with a push button to engage reverse. It really is a quality peice of kit

 

Hi where do I find the equivalent number for my bus, to compare?

Do you have a link to where I can compare my bus code (when I find it it) to see if it fits mine?!

 

i just went on the gene berg website "GeneBerg.com" and followed the links to the shifters, put the details of your van..... age etc and you'll end up with part number code. Good luck

Ah I think the penny has dropped. I have a 1979 RHD bus, so I need the GB6570R. I’ve just realised the “R” is Right Hand Drive...

Cav46 is yours the RHD version ie GB 6750R? As per my PM if it fits a RHD I'm interested in buying buddy

This thread went sideways and is not actual anymore.

 

The Facebook GB AFAIK is on hold as there only 8 or 9 people on the list, the guy Jay I think, is pointing people onto the GB on aircooledhut. There’s also klassiker, but looks expensive by compression, limebug do the gene berg with options for locking and black or polished knob.

If there was more interest in the GB on Facebook then it’ll be a go-er.

sorry for not replying to pm's, i used to get notifications via my phone but now i don't ?? so i've not looked at them. Theres lots of interest for the shifter, Julien you get first refusal as you replied first, if you don't want it it gets offered to paul2590 and then baysearcher
