I want one of those cupboards that run along the top of the side windows but haven’t really got the skills to make it

If I was redoing the interior I would probably go for draws rather than cupboards

We’ve always had those in our T4’s and they’re v handy. Especially for tea, coffee etc and stuff you want to access when the bed is out.

Just having a re-fresh of our interior - trying to prove to the missus that there is room for improvement - think I’m getting there- deceptively more room in here than appears from outside don’t you think?

  12. That’s lovely, did you make it?

I was experimenting with hook on baskets last year, while useful, they still had to be stored somewhere when driving. Something like this would work better.

    Yeah me too.
Now I've ditched the redundant Devon bunks (anyone wanna buy them??), I've got room to do this - especially having seen what @toastie has done.
I've got a mixture of cupboards, cubby holes and one drawer already, but the idea of that shelf...… :)

  14. Have a Westy Berlin interior and last year removed the 30litre water tank from the cupboard (never used this) and fitted another shelf in the space which gave us much more storage space. Now just take 2 10litre water containers, 3 stacking boxes placed side by side under the van when camping. Most important is the beer in the cool box, jacks and tools under the front passenger seat. The spare wheel well is inside the wardrobe (spare wheel stored in the cupboard behind driver LHD) so keep spares in the well with a wooden cover over this and clothes on top. Buddy seat clipped behind passenger seat with a chemical toilet hidden within.

Those Devon bunks make fine shelves for those canvas frames with a picture of three splitties printed on them or other large flat objects. At Volksworld I will pop the top and hide my sleeping bag up there.

  19. @Dub and Dubber I tell you what would work remember the old 60's kitchens with the thin sliding ply doors that would work and can be made cheap even sold flat pack. using unfinished ply so then the purchaser can add a bit of sparkle to it.
i personally would line the outside with carpet or ?

So who wants a Geord la cabinet.
