I love those 1960s sliding door kitchen cupboards. And the obligatory one with the frosted glass sliding doors. Fab. In fact if I ever move house I’ll employ you to make me a 1960s kitchen @Geordie
Like .... except the carpet!! 1950's to 1970's furniture less easy to sell now, so maybe there's a crop of base units out there? I forget what they're called but I like the vertical slat sliding doors ... The front can be curved then .... Very useful in a camper
@scrooge95 i like them too they sell on eBay for big money who would have thought it and yes il make you a kitchen no problem. Starting a kitchen in the next couple of week
@matty there lovely but look way to expensive the curved doors are made most likely out of 3 sheets of 6mm bendy ply, glued and formed in a jig then veneered. Three issue is every time you open them thinks will fall-out, matching it in with the rest of the interior and that won't be cheap. But very very nice.
wifes cabbie hole .... umbrella and flip flops and bottle of water Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yet it works well.. it's just some ply / dowell and some screws.. simple but effective.. if you want some photos I will post some up ..
I see vanwurks do one but it's not cheep https://www.vanwurks.co.uk/product/lighting/led-lighting-shelfstorage-unit-for-t2-bay-window
yes please! pcs, plans, how to guide.... it's really lovely. Only problem is as @scrooge95 pointed out, the bogging devon roof struts in the way, but think a work around can be done
That's good for the price. but think its bit over the top. I honesty don't know what it is but i like genuine coach builds. More to the point i love it more when people have built there own with what looks like that have lying about collected there more interesting then a bus with a silly amount of money blown on the interior.
How is it attached to the body of the camper, as I assume the span from back of cab to front of headbanger locker would be too long without some form of additional support? Just angle bracket screwed/ rivitted, or something prettier? Damn those Devon side springy roof elevating bits, but there must be a way of working it....
Hope these photos help. My bus is a lowly van conversion.. so things may be different on your Van's. It is just ply screwed in to the frame then the shelf is screwed to that..
