Steering box

    I've got a leaky steering box, first question can I repair it on my camper or do I need to remove it which leads to my second question is it a difficult job to do, 3rd do i need special tools? 4th can I get the seals etc help please @snotty @davidoft @mikedjames or anyone from TLB family

    Would taking it off be easier, oh I feel stressed this is going to be difficult ,I might get Gerry @Gingerbus to hold my hand :thumbsup:

  10. Forgot...you need a ball-joint splitter for the front drag link joint. And clean pants.

    You will need the big puller to get at one of the seals. And dont take the nut off , just loosen when using the puller, unless you like ballistic weaponry.

    He's all out of seals, I was after a set a while ago.

    Hijacking thread slightly- but MOT man recommended replacing my perished one of these... I take it the steering box needs to come off for that to happen?

    No, you remove the steering column or at least unbolt the column and lift it up to get the coupler bolts in and out.
