Did you change the spigot bush in the bellhousing too??

could be it has gummed up!!

 

i haven’t the changed bush was nt going to do it yet as the engine will be coming out not very long after i get it started
is it a m12 tap for getting it out ?

 

I think so... I got a proper puller a while back

 

i made a puller for the first one i did it split the bush in two and had to take the engine out to get the second bit out

 

I always replace mine with one from an auto, bay or T25 as you don't need the bush and it spins it quicker.

 

I would likely say that T25 diesel is more likely to be something like mk2 golf
