Stanford Hall! 1st July

Discussion in 'Shows Events You've Missed unless you went' started by moley76, Mar 15, 2012.

  1. We ALWAYS go to Stanford Hall - it's a great day out from Birmingham, you should come along, Rick. It's excellent for autojumble, the number of times I've been up to my elbows in greasy car parts looking for that one obscure thing I needed...... I managed to get a full set of lower tin from there once (seeing as the previous owner thought it was "unnecessary" )

It's usually sunny (or at least reasonably nice), there's always plenty of VWs worth taking photos of, and it's always freezing!

  11. its a great show to go to....ive been going since the mid 80's when you could camp there! after that we used a field that an old dear owned but she must have died 10 or more years ago now and ive not camped near by for years...last time was near husbands bosworth good boozer there i remember.

  13. I went a few years ago and got to admit it's one of the best shows I've been too. Might try to go this year for the day but when it's a 3 hr drive just seems too far.
