Stanford Hall! 1st July

I'm going to be there regardless. What I arrive in will depend upon how I'm feeling and what the weather's like. I'll try and come in the van if I can, but if not I'll come in the 'Beeza. I need autojumble parts and Stanford Hall is always good for those.

 

i've never been before so don't know the layout, but is there a chance the weather would spoil it, what i mean is, if it's been raining that bad then surely they won't allow things on their lovely grass areas??

 

Wow its this weekend! Glad I found this thread as I think we will prob go.

 

well as we aren't camping and so there won't be a specific area for us to meet who knows of a place and time for a little group hug/picture at this one?

 

Only one camping plot left for Sunday night at Hope Valley, Derbyshire. Several of us off tlb are camping, along with some of my mates from Donny. 9 vans booked in so far. Its a basic sight, 150yds from a nice pub, and Zoe is bringing Sloe gin. Big bbq breakfast planned for Monday.

 

The weather forcast for Sunday basically says it should be cloudy but clear and, if it rains, it's only likely to be short and light, if at all.

Think we are a maybe ... all depends on the weather ... camping away for the weekend has been poo-poo'd by Matt & Freya due to the rain so am trying to sort out some day trips as I refuse to spend a 3 day weekend inside watching the rain!!!

It is only 20-25 miles up the road for us. We will be up for meeting up with whoever is there as well - presume that it stops raining for long enough for me to pursuade them both that we are going

Born in 1975 so yep, I was 12 ... sorry to rub it in

Anyway, 44 will not be old ... Freya told me that none of her Grandparents are old yet as they aren't 100 ... so there you go, the wise words of a 7 year old!!!!
