Spring Dub Harrogate - Sunday March 2nd 2014

We went last year and met up with a few TLB people. Some camped the night before, others went for the day, like us. Nice little show - last year was the first one as far as I remember.

I think we will just be going for the day again this year - possible to Betty's for a cream tea afterwards

It'd be a poor effort if we don't make it, only a couple of minutes down the road. Good little show and well worth a walk around the carpark.
If Betty's in towns too busy try the one at Harlow Carr, overlooking the gardens.

Blimey and after you've paid for @Lord Congi 's van Nah there's nowt at that show that I ain't seen a million times before

 

It was pretty lame last year to be honest ,most of the vans were under some massive shed which meant all you could hear all night was the echoes of sliding doors being slammed then people screaming to be quiet.

 

For a town that made its money seling water, we know all about that.

 

MsT & I had afternoon tea in Bettys when we stayed in Harrogate. I remember the eldest unmarried, who was about 9, commented loudly that "This is a bit posher than the cafes we normally go to". We stayed at The Old Swan Hotel, it's a lovely town.

 

Has anyone noticed yet that it's only the mods on here that can afford it

 

we might be up for going but not sure what the weather will be like, fancy camping as our first one of the season. will have to start saving for the trip to Betty's!!

Wasn't the greatest show last year but it was good to meet up with a fair few TLB folk. We'll have to organise a meeting place nearer the time
