Plenty here too in West Yorks. Maybe Sparrows, or Sparrers, as I believe our cockney cousins call them, just don’t like East Grinstead.
Here in Norfolk I see more robins than sparrows... Have a lot of fly-catchers though which are great to watch
Still have sparrows in Hampshire but probably more red kites, they’re everywhere Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Maltese have eaten then all as they will eat anything that moves/flies/wriggles. Ask Chris Packham if you don't believe me.
Put up some nesting boxes Two long boxes with three or so holes High up on leeward side of your house away from cats And you within two years they will be Full Cheep cheep cheep all day long
CELLOTAPE BREAD CRUMBS TO THE INSIDE OFF THE WINDOW THEN WATCH THEM HERADBUTT THEM SELFS TO DEATH LOL
We’ve got sparrows nesting in the roof. V lovely apart from in the summer when they wake you up at 4 having a squabble. However, in the trees over the back there are squirrels, crows and magpies who also wake you up fighting as they really don’t like each other
Yep, they balance their lardarses on the incoming telecoms cable directly above my car and dump directly onto the windscreen. They also land at the bottom of the steep pitch roof on my garage then struggle to walk up the hip tiles to the top - common sense would suggest that if they are gifted the ability to fly, why don't they fly to the top?
