Bought my Devon replica a fews ago and it's great...nice and sturdy..I think the bluebird ones only bolt to the bumper and are a little more bulky..Devon ones are nice and neat...
That my friend is a very good question. Ive got a brazilian rear bumper (Mrs) and it flexed like a bugger. But they are thin and not remotely as rigid as a proper late bay one. I bracketed mine inside the bumper onto the tow bar and it is solid. Im not sure whether I prefer this of the devon one tbh. This was all that was available at the time. If a devon one had been available I probably would have fitted it. But then again It may not fit my bus as it doesnt have standard bumper of bracketry.
