Something not quite right here...possible scam!

My van appeared for 'sale' on eBay last week. Reported to eBay and the police, heard nothing back. Took days for the ad to be removed, and 3 offers had been made on it.

Bloody chancers.

 

Did some more investigating and the e-mail address I found under his e-bay user name lead me to this profile on facebook, funnily enough this person is in Stoke-on-Trent and is called "Immy Raxstar Rashid." which ties up with the Google photo account!! Hmm is this person just really thick or do they have fake profiles everywhere???

see that gumtree.....loads of the ad,s are fakes...diff story years ago ,as it was major source of good vw bays ....as zed says that ad looks cool .....im gonna phone him and go down for a look see ,as im in croydon on friday evening ..

 

I feel sorry for the guy actually selling the real bus

 

so you have his facebook, his google photo, screentshots of him trying to sell a van that isn't his..
surely thats enough to take to the cops?

Looks like they are back scamming!!
Does anyone know the owner of this VW Camper somewhere in Gwent as their pics are getting used as a scam ebay listing n I'm worried there will be some comeback on the new owner!!

Are you being fare the seller has 172 positive feedback and 0 negative but it is a bit odd when you click to see other items being sold you get the ebay buyer protection page

 

I am almost certain that the black camper is one that was used in a TV show a while ago, I forget what it was called. The van and the surroundings in the picture look really familiar.

I will do some Googling!

 

I know... plus Ebay never heard of seller and Item number doesn't exist... but hey... times are hard so I'll deffo pay £3400 for it if they need the cash!! LOL

The seller of the black one on the "Private Auction" is called kayb200 and it says that they are based in Scotland. I just did a member search on ebay and it came up with a member with the same name with 172 feedbacks but based in Cheshire with no items for sale!!!

I Googled the e-mail address on the "Private Auction" but nothing apart from that came up, also entered it into facebok and nothing!

Maybe the real kayb200 needs to knowtheir identity is being used, may just send them a message.
