came on here for advice as i know nothing about anything really. everyone been very friendly and welcoming. ricky even posted my bus on here for me as i didn't know how. generally a very nice forum. hope to still be enjoying all the banter for a long time. i apologise now as i am sure i will get annoying after a while with many stupid questions.. forwarned is forarmed.

Anyway if you will let me be serious for a minute...I come on here because I love it. I love reading through posts, learning a little bit, laughing out loud a lot, planning how I can spend my free time meeting up with you lot, selling the stuff I no longer need and buying more stuff I didn't know I needed, helping when I can, smacking bum when I have to. This is a truly great place to be and what's better is that arguments happen and then fizzle out and the love returns. :hippy:

I float around all the usual forums, generally joining up to any new ones that are started. There weren't really very many around when i got my 1st bus a basic vzi and the samba really so the choice these days is excellent.
I like this one as its for people who just like buses. "early" or "late" they are essentially the same thing, its not all about the shape of your rear lights and how if yours are deemed the "wrong" ones you are somehow a lesser enthusiast.
I go on eb for its for sale section and the dreamers who think that prototype bay is actually a model designation. I come on here to read stories of people actually using the bloody things for fun, camping, drinking and *****ing etc.
