SO - why do you come on here ?.

    i came for the tech help originally and stayed because of the banter , i like it here but lately some people have seemed disgruntled , they complain about the high posters and the lack of unity or the cliques .

    i don't see it myself perhaps because i'm thick and ignorant and only really concern myself with my posts and my issue's , maybe it isn't like that at all , just in some peoples minds .

    its a forum , a good un , i get a lot from it , i try to give a lot back and probably post too much , i am sorry i don't mean to ruin it for others just joining in the banter etc .

    i like it here and dare i say it on earlygay where i read more than post -- i get a lot from both forums , what do you get why do you come here , is it to join in , read or just moan ?.

    I'm with you Malc I joined for tech help and i got plenty from the wealth of knowledge out there. I like the banter and dip in and out when I've got time to post. People always come and go on forums the same as they do in life, there's a lot of great people on here and a just a couple that I find mildly annoying which is a pretty good ratio really.

    No, seriously. TLB is bloomin' great. Lots of lovely folk. Everything you need to know is here. Writing to you lot and reading what you all say just makes me realise that I'm not crazy after all. What more could you ask for?

    I don't have any real friends. I culled them all when the ex left as I realised mine had been cunningly replaced with hers over 20 years. Mine are now dead (too much party) or miles away so you lot will have to do.

    Is what popped up when i googled 1970 olkswagen van, ^-^ I wanted info on how to repair ours,
    lurked for a bit & found out that most folks on here are quite [glow=red,2,300]MAD! [/glow]so i joined!
    I have yet to regret it--(yet :thinking:) >:D

    i came here initially thinking you were all pretty normal...now i know you're all a little mad i feel much more at home :)

    you've all been great and extremely welcoming, and if people don't like me that's fine, but you'll have to drag me kicking and screaming from here because i want to stay and continue to be a part of the Late Bay...

    i like the banter you lot have here, bits may go over my head but i'll just smile and nod as if i understand... i don't know anything about vw's or any cars for that matter but would like to learn... x

    You fit it really well DD - it's a shame you're so far away.

    TP - it's an advantage not to know about cars on here - this is a site for people who go camping in their buses. Obviously they must be mended if they break or you can't go camping    .

    That's why everyone helps each other - life without camping is not good. :(
