  8. Glock 22 is proven knock down power. But just in case. The bazooka is in the mail. Thats a bit girly though.its in pink ....

  9. Aye but 2.2 says pop gun normally!

  10. What about violence in Shakespeare plays? Romeo and Juliet id full of knife crime.

The truth is, every form of media at some point involves sex and violence. It is not right to single out games.

  11. They are freely available to most teenagers already.

  12. This should definitely be a legal option going forward. People will smoke weed if it is legal or not. If you were legally allowed to grow a couple of plants for personal use, a huge amount of money would be removed from the criminal economy. Even if that just frees up police time, that has to be worth it.

20 years ago a lad worked for me who looked like he had gone through a car windscreen face first.
Turns out he got slashed at a football match by somebody with a Stanley knife with a match between two blades.
Better in PNG though everyone walks about with a bush knife :)

  15. Why should the army have to deal with people who carry knives? What have the army got to do with it? Being in the army isn't punishment, for some people it's their ambition.
Also why is it always the army? Why not the navy, or the air force?

  16. You're missing my point. I'm asking why making drugs legal would stop knife crime

  17. a reason that our armed forces are one of the best in the world is down to those joining choosing to do so. Press ganging might have worked 200 years ago, but when I was in the senior service (25 years ago) we wouldn't have wanted to have become a correctional facility and I guess neither would the other two services. Some people think that the services can work miracles, but they are equally underfunded and the army is the smallest it has even been.

The people who use drugs are part of the supply chain and therefore have blood on their hands.

  18. And by that rationalle those that drink are responsible for drink driving, chronic illness due to alcohol abuse and alcohol fuelled violence on our streets and in homes, wife beating....... you get the gist.

  19. no I don't get your gist ... what you do demonstrate is that people on a legally allowed substance commit crime or inflict illness on themselves ... if drugs were legal we would have similar/different issues with those and probably a wider number of people. Combine the issues of drugs and alcohol and we'd need more than Brexit to save our NHS.
