Snail fan

    Well would you believe it? He's right again @zed, with the benefit of daylight there's the bloody holes for the fan bracket, even tho this has never had one,shame they didn't put captive nuts in. Just off to get some big self tappers! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1385204137.630044.jpg

    So the self tappers just go straight up through those two made holes in the noise damper plate , do you have to pilot drill first or do they just bind in with the self tapper , what size tapper did you use , mine has the two holes just like yours on the photo , but there's about an inch before you reach steel .cheers ! Ewan ( faust ).

    Those holes were throught the strengthening bar that runs across the roof, got the biggest self tappers with hex head they did at the local hardware store, to be honest I think those rivinuts would work better
