I have misremembered the adjustment. Not a captive moving plate inside the door it's simple slots in the bracket and that's where the settling back problem occurs - because the softish bracket gets dented by the screws ,when you try to tighten in a new position the screws want to pull the bracket back in line with the worn dents. Where there's a will there's a way though, you'll crack it, you might not even have that problem but as a last resort you can buy new brackets I believe.
I was thinking that myself, they look pretty straight forward, I've got some scrap metal and it's not as if I don't have the time lol
You can shim the bottom out, Baz. Give it a go. From memory, the only corner on the slider that can’t be adjusted is the bottom RH corner.
I took off the bottom roller thankfully there was no rust, first thing I noticed there was only 2 bolts holding it on and there was 2 shims , the rollers were so dirty the rollers weren't rolling I gave them a good clean and cleaned the channel, I then replaced the bolts with stainless steel ones and added a washer for the 3rd shim all looks good and the door slides better but it didn't really lift the door
As Zed said earlier you can gain a bit of height by rotating the bracket around the bolt in the side to push the bracket closer to the door which will lift the door. Did that help lift it?
That's what I needed John someone who speaks my language, I'll have my coffee and a smoke and I'll go and sort it f.... me it's only a door
I'm sitting here in the van after my coffee and I see the gaps in a new light, I see them as little ventilation holes
