    Not to worry @zed, i have ordered the hooks, pin and spring and am going to have a go at repairing mine. photo's to follow soon :thumbsup:

    Mine came from Heritage too, not what is shown ! and plenty of play, lets hope they last..........@Alex VW Heritage

    Too much play in fact, it's that sloppy it allows the mech to kick out and catch on the runner screeching the door to a halt, after I machined it properly and fitted a sealed bearing it's smooth as you like.
