single port fan to doghouse fan

It turns out my engine has a slim fan on the alternator fitted into a doghouse fan shroud

Is it a straight swap of the fans or is the shaft diffrent

I noticed I has a slimmer fan on mine (twin port engine)...so after all the work I've done I hope mine wasnt overheated at some point!

I've bought a twin port fan which is deeper, but it fits on the alternator and into the dog house fine

 

yes, it's a straight swap

it is also shimmed so you can centre it and stop it from rubbing
