I thought silverfish were supposed to be silver

I'd start by tightening the alternator belt!

 

It may have once been a silverfish, but now its just a rusty squid

it's possibly a fish, lhd pic 7 shows load bay to be silver respray and roof? eitherway looks a bit rough

 

its got the right bumpers but there is no side trim ,

Bodywork in pretty much good condition,there is no need for ordering new underpan panels,there are just a few normal , smole holes here and there ,something relatively easy for someone ethusiastic or a DIY restorer,age related.

So you still have it for sale then ?

 

I know that bus,and I can't explain myself what was in the mind of that butcher who raped it.perhaps the ex-owner didn't know about the value of the van or he just didn't care about this,so maybe that's why it looks like this now.with some money and many many original parts it might be saved and not became a complete wreck or donor parts for some other "standard" kombi.
if is a matching number IT IS A "SILVER FISH" and anyway it MUST be saved in one way or another :-
