I'm certain it will recover, I had the same problem when I decided it was no longer appropriate to wear a ring on the 3rd finger of my left hand, it's back to normal six years later; the mental scars may never go away, however.

The windows are triple glazed and very heavy, so until I can get to the stage of fitting them they needed a nearby store.
Unfortunately the only place was in the lockable "lobby" of the soon-to-be finished holiday let ... It's not the wall, it's the door with a key
