Presuming so , i got a ticket for parking in a resticted area in Rome but in typical wop style it arrived dated two weeks short of a year AFTER the offence . Since then i`d moved house and only got the notification because i`d paid the post office to forard my letters for a year ..
I had no intention of paying but out of interest i had a mate translate and reading between the lines they had 12 months to inform me of the offence and i then had 2 weeks to stump up 175 Euros or the book would be thrown in my direction

Italy is lovely but i`ve no reason to rush back - screw `em

 

Did Sarah offer to pay, then?
