I’ve a dicky ticker and must have over done things yesterday.

 

Going through old photos and taking pics of them, is there an app or something for digitising them? some I was given by the person who took them so only have the pics.

What about the dedicated photo sized scanners from Amazon etc? Most do negatives as well as prints...

 

and that was before the champagne reception!

i didn't know they existed! not really after a piece of hardware but wondered if there was a better way than just taking a pic of old shiny photos and editing with iphoto?

 

Most consumer level ink jets scan these days, if you're just after decent copies to share and browse and plan on keeping the originals as well, just set it to 1200dpi, or the highest setting.

 

i don't have a printer and don't really want one - after teaching it was the first thing to go!
but maybe i'll have to consider it ... maybe.
