Let's hope your next career choice is trucking. The real world and the people in it soon knock any cockiness out of a bloke. It usually takes 12 months flat.

[IMG][IMG] I think the problem will be human driven cars initially.

UK drones are remotely flown from RAF Waddington, so may not have pilot on board but do have a pilot.

I think there will be several years of managing to give the occupants of some of these cars nosebleeds when they bang their heads on the windscreen.
Following the local kids discovering that if you jump into the path of one of these driverless cars they have to emergency stop.
Extra points will be awarded for the added whiplash when the car behind them hits them too.

Just like hacking there will be a sub-culture of discovering amusing ways of making driverless cars so confused they run into things.

  19. Theory is that Driver less cars will increase congestion . Since parking costs money, but driving is free people will get out to go the shops, and say to the' car circle for two hours then come back'. 1000s of cars circling. The pub.

Happens already in the congestion zone with cabbies, the car just drives 24/7 looking for a fare, with the drivers changing between shifts. Nowhere to park free anymore see,
