Seat upholstery made at home / and interior refit due to lockdown

  1. I'm no professional but the machine and all the materials was just under the cost of some custom curtains from Bromsgrove auto trimmers and can retrim the complete bus door cards and allso curtains for littke I see £250

  7. Yeah make better with 1/2" foam bloody hard things get on after but looks nice tbf I like it hope to crack on with the top half of the seat today or few hours

  8. Bit bore done today all marks line up and fits over it pretty good so many little bits have to be made to make these blooming seats up note to self next time pick easy normal seats for ur 1st go

    Feel quite happy with the result so far should finish this back off tomorrow now tome for a few carlings

Bit more done today the fidly bits sewing the edged clips on and made the hog ring metal rod ect to pull the seat in when it's fitted allso made and sewn back top and lower bottom part just waiting for plastic paint to paint main plastic parts and back and then this can be fitted allso started the bottom splicing the individual bits off and made the bottom middle just put few detail lines in the base , popped the back on allso seems to fit in all the right places [​IMG]

  12. Only a bit more today made the 1 side piece (why did Audi make this so hard that little rising bit was so awkward) but happy again all fits ect when clips r on will pull it all in

  13. Finished the other side of seat base today just waiting on paint for plastic parts and glue for my glue gun to finish off and then I can re assemble the seat and fit it in the bus then on to other seat

    I sometimes wish the rest of my lot would show a bit more enthusiasm, but then I would miss the peace:)

Due to the massive 3" tubs I needed to modify the seats and kinda like body drop them over the frames and the tilt forward mechanism was main to the bit I removed and the slide mech I made to slide up inside the seats to slow it to drop down got a massive 3inch drop from my old seats which will leave me loads of room and be super comfortable for all the long drives
    Lowering a bus ain't for the faint hearted literally everything needs to be modified to fit
