Our van is a converted panel van which has a wooden rear seat, loose cushions and no rear belts.
It would need a crash tested rock & roll bed, fixed cushions and rear seatbelt mounts welded in before I'd consider fitting belts and carrying passengers.

no need for a crash tested bed unless the seatbelt mounts are fixed to it
