Whats the best sealant to use on the heat riser pipes where they join together up too the Y section .? also is there a sealant used on the join where the steel pipe joins to the top of heat exchanger from the fan .....or is it supposed to be a dry steel to steel join .
If you need to use something, then get some aluminium tape, as it's designed for using on chimney flues

That's actually better than what I was on about, as that is essentially sticky exhaust wrap!! Good find
