Im not much help at the moment as i havent hit my tidy up the wiring stage yet So others are more apt to advise Its such a big shame i dont live near you anymore as i often think if we were still local to each other we would both be on the road now Never mind these things are sent to test us but if we persist and carry on regardless we come out the other side a lot wiser

Today was a good day - i finally took her for a spin , the gears worked , the clutch worked and the engine ran well even if it did start to miss after a while - i turned her off for five mins and she ran fine again - sticking o/s brake caliper too but eh ho - she finally got a drive out . Lou struggling to get her into the garage when the engine was playing up - she left her 5 minutes and she ran fine and straight in , but i never old her until after - > DSCF4119.AVI Out in the winter sun she need a scrub

i have also learned -- wipe roof under poptop before storing , top left of van has held water for nearly 10 months and messed up paintwork :-[
Forgot to mention the electrics -- after sorting the dynamo /regulator wiring as advised by members on here i was worried the charging system may not work as it was intended to , but after a fw minutes of the charge light not going out it suddenly went off , the lights brighten when i rev it and no sickly smell of burning wire - yet
