  2. Mines got the switch and a wire that doesn't go anywhere and tied to the chassis. Should be an easy fix, might get the cree leds like para. Might not even bother with bulb holders and just get some generic 12v leds and glue them in. Should never need replacing.

As far as I'm aware reverse lights are not part of the MOT.

The JK kit is ok but on a personal note I don't like the wiring kit suppled. I hate those crimp things with a passion and I don't like wires hanging around underneath.

  5. This is FACT. ^^^^ FACT. ;) Although reversing lights have been standard equipment on most cars for years, they are non-testable on MOTs. Judging by the last few cars I bought from 2nd hand car dealers, reverse light bulbs are often swiped to replace blown brake light/indicator bulbs when the wannabe Arthur Daley doesn't have any spare bulbs to hand just before he takes a car for an MOT.

I always thought they were? So whill it fail if your fog light does not work?
Either way regardless of legal issues surely for the minimal cost and 20mins faff, it has to make sense fitting or repairing them?

  7. If you have a fog light retrofitted to your van, then it must work. However there is no requirement for vehicles first registered before 1st April 1980 to have them.
