Thank you. Did you also notice the tea towel rail (with blue gingham tea towel) which is just a shelf bracket turned sideways? This helps to secure the unit to the bulkhead.
I'm contemplating something similar, although mine would be on one side only (behind driver) as on a 79 there's no bulkheads, so the passenger seat can be slid off the rails, reversed and pushed back on to gain another seat facing into the van My ideal, I think, would be storage primarily, maybe with another half-height unit attached towards the back seat, upholstered on top for another seat, especially for the dog to sit on with her head out of the sliding window :dog: The main unit could be anywhere between standard unit height to ceiling height, depending on what we decide. We cook either on top of the engine bay, or on picnic tables - if we camp in rougher places, we could always get some sort of collapsible leg set up for the stove. A fridge/electric coolbox might be nice, but we can always just use a ice-filled box - that could sit behind passenger seat as a counterweight cum extra sliding window seat for puppy while traveling, and move to the floor outside when parked up.
Im all about honesty dude as you know I saw that and thought thats clever who made that I think i may have got a phobia about working with wood But i had one about heights and i beat it
why didn't I think of that.... there's another for the 'jobs I should've done but didn't want to get the grinder out' list
Yes mate, but I' m not a DJ anymore, and if you want that type of handle, you will need to insert it flush on your furniture, wich is impossible in a 15mm plywood without making a big hole in it.
Not criticising....you can buy small, shallow dish butterflies from Penn Elcom. I used to make flight cases for a living....
I have a berlin deluxe with a double burner but to be honest hardly use it as we always cook outside on a BBQ or canister cooker. Stops that cooking smell inside the van.
