Im guessing you will be told a crock of Marmitee, that isnt the real reason for it anyway. Ask for all the old parts back and compare against your bill - will it have cables on it - flexies..... Excitement is underwehlming. Hope it gets sorted anyway. Wish that was all that was up with mine!!
Cant see why you wouldnt be good to go - its all bolt-on, bolt-offable stuff easy by comparison to the work thats already been done.
I had a similar problem after doing my front calipers Both hoses had collapsed. Zeds handbrake theory Is also very likely. Also have the little retaining springs been fitted( they tend to rust) without these the shoes can twist a bit causing a bind.
update -- phone call from garage re brakes , malc we have a oproblem with your brakes , changed drums and shoes but its still stickin , its the lever , can you come and look , we have phoned heritage and jk to check you have the right shoes and they only did those for two years . Me yes mate i will come over tomorrow .
So am I right in thinking mr gloater Zed was incorrect with his deduction? It wasn't the handbrake cables stuck?
I don't think that's been said or proved just yet? I'm still waiting. Malc - so you've got to go and tell them how to fix it?
