Went to fellows speed shop who sorted me out with some std spindles. Great bunch of lads and the standard of work is mind blowing.

Used some por15 looking much better now.

Ball joints came out without too much fuss which was a relief

Noticed the track rod boots looking far from there best so purchased some new boots. You actually need the medium size ones. I popped in as they are located just up the road from me.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252747289420

Hopefully get it all fitted back up tomorrow and can then play around with the adjustable beam getting the height I want.

    Std spindles back on

I've raised up the front up as far as it will go on the beam adjusters, its probably to high now. The ride isn't good, shorter shocks I think are needed and I'm after some bigger tyres. Thinking 175/65/15 can't go any wider due to 4.5" rims up front. Either that or its a 55 depth decisions decisions.
Don't think this is helping matters, my steering arms are at a mad angle and nearly touching the body, I believe there's a kit available to position these upside down.

Failing that I'll be trying the dropped spindles back on with thicker tyres and maybe some coilovers to raise it up a bit.

Yes the larger profile tyres will help the ride height and the harshness.
