Question about adaptors

Discussion in 'Mech Tech' started by Bobreoc, Nov 2, 2013.

  1. I've had a look in search threads and haven't found anything on this. Although it may have been asked and answered, so apologies in advance.

But if I buy some 5x205 to 5x130 adaptors, will they space my wheels out?
And give me a bigger off set?
And if they do by how much?

    Yes.
    Yes.
    Depends on adaptor thickness.
Email butty off buttysbits and he'll give you the offsets.

  4. Thanks for the swift reply.

    I'll
    Contact him now :)
Just wondering if I put a Set of 4.5j wheels on that may counter the offset?

  5. There's no way you can run adaptors without them pushing the wheel out further... the only way to counter it, is by running wheels with a bigger offset!! :)

Just as an average, adaptors tend to be 20 to 25mm in thickness!! :)
