I try not to get up before it's light myself. :)

  4. Was not able to get anything done yesterday. The wife thought yard work was more important than garage time. I'm thinking today is my day!

  5. Get to it then ;)

  6. Thanks for the rap! Lanner at vdub engineering is a decent guy and makes some good kit. I had the hubs machined at a local machine shop here in the UK and Birdy did a sterling job making it all fit. Looks and feels the part, just need to get her off the drive and clear the surface rust from the brake discs....

  7. Wifey was not having it this weekend. And it looks like next weekend is yard work weekend, again. Project may be put off for two weeks from today...

  8. OK, update: I think I'm going to sell all my Porsche parts that I've picked up and go a different route. I don't like the idea of switching over to Porsche parts. Just wish I had came to this conclusion a few $$$ ago... Came up with a better idea, and its HOT!

  9. How come dude??

  10. Going to go a different route/look with my Bus. Right now it has a VW, old school kind of look to it. The Porsche wheels are going to give it a sporty look and that's not the look I'm after. Not only that, I want to air ride it very soon, and install a big, canvas sunroof. I'm thinking if I just do a rear disk brake kit instead of a whole Porsche wheel swap that money that can be saved up for air ride, fixing my AC, and cloth top. I don't want to stray too far from the look of the Bus as it sits now.
Now I have to sell these parts!
    Cookie Cutters anyone...?

  11. Fair play dude!!

At least you'd not got too far doing all the mods!! :)

  12. Yeah, just outta money but, I'm use to that. My idea is to pick up some VW Heritage wheels from a new beetle and powdercoat them the same color as the top of my Bus. Then, put some 17" Vouge, whitewall tires on ti and then a rear disk brake kit. Then after that its time for Air Ride, and a rag top. Clearcoat it, and fix the bumpers, and then a nice exhaust and then I'm done!

  13. So, I'll be selling my Cookie Cutters, and Porsche spindles, and brake parts here very soon!
