Popping on start up and first few minutes?

When was the last time you checked your valve/tappet gaps? or did a service??

 

could it be youve just reknewed the he s n stuff n it needs re tuning etc assuming you dont have air leak ?

 

Could your plug gaps need looking at or even changing your plugs?

 

In this business, unless stated, I never take anything as a given

 

did you try pull push?

Maybe you're allowing it to back on to you, try pull push first then report back. Here, i've done a video for you

It came to me in the middle of the night (about the only thing that did), how about a sticking valve when shes cold?
I've seen this on aircraft engines.

Malc you shouldent have moved so far away from me then i would be able to just pop round and help you

Take the rocker covers off lift back the valve stem seals and spray plus gas down the stems
See if it does the same the next morning???
