    On channel 4.

Very disturbing and I’m not sure there aren’t a few very guilty people wrestling with their consciences about it all, not least the police team that arrived initially.

  2. Heard about it, didn’t fancy watching it. Someone needs their collar felt.

It was an uncomfortable watch to be sure. I doubt the truth will ever come to light unless one of them folds to be honest

  9. Tend to agree, on both counts really. Lift em all, different stations for questioning someone would cave and Barrymore was never an entertainer just a bully on stage, makes you wonder what he was like at home?

See? It’s statements like this, that want me to post memes regarding Barrymore and/or Schofield memes that I have seen on Farcebook. But I won’t, simply becuase some people just can’t take a joke!

  13. The way I see it. It’s simple. Something went on. The police investigated it. Ok maybe not perfectly, but in all the years there’s never been any witness evidence, forensic evidence or in fact any proof to link Barrymore to his death. He’s never been charged, only questioned as a witness. The police issued a statement saying they believe he played no part in it.

it’s time to leave Barrymore alone I think. Every time he’s been questioned he’s answered every thing asked.

the media decided he’s guilty. Not the police and not a court.

This site isn’t the same as FB - we have rules that try to retain a certain standard. Sometimes the boundaries are a bit grey, but the maxim remains - if in doubt don’t post.

  15. Ahh but there is making a joke & then there is making statements that you KNOW will offend! Sometimes it just needs toning down a bit

Does this mean we are no longer able to make statements and abuse @Barry Haynes or is he still fair game?

The police admitted they never investigated it properly. They simply attended a drowning and left it at that no evidence gathered or any proper quizzing of the people present
