Yes that's about it Zed, it works well now so leave well alone...

 

Mines been welded to the torsion tube badly

Im leaving it as it is and instead of a stack of washers ill use a cut down piece of tube or if i get a lathe and piller drill ill machine a spacer

 

That repair is very good the po has made provision for adjustment ,I might pinch that idea...

 

If you want more detail lost in france, I can get a better picture for you...it does seem a rigid repair slight flex on operation...I assumed it was original!
