Jk's prices are just ridiculous. I don't know how they get away with it. Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
I couldn't find it when I screen shot these pictures But a few days ago I came across a top shock bolt JK £6 Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
JK went mad during Covid I noticed. They are routinely more expensive than the others nowadays. I use Brickwerks where I can, or Schofields. Even with their higher postage costs, they usually end up cheaper.
But is there a quality difference between them as a matter of interest ...or are they the same make anyway .
Brickwerks have a bloomin good reputation for quality parts. The guy, Simon who runs it doesn't muck around with cheap rubbish but also doesn't do rip off. If it's for a T25 then always look there first.
I can't remember the last time I bought from JK, I always double check with them when making a purchase just in case but they are invariably more expensive.
Apparently they stopped as they had complaints about the environmental impact of the little bags of sweets. Odd given that they don’t acknowledge most complaints about their parts or worry about all the glossy leaflets they stick in. I still use them for a few bits as most suppliers I’ve have issues with.
Or a late bay as my double cab is a 79 So the early t25 stuff is the same. Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
I get some stuff off them as my insurance is with them so I automatically det discount. Not that that makes the cheaper than the rest. Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
Says it all really. JK custr service is atrocious, prices extortionate, I absolutely refuse to use them now. All the other options are better.
5 or 6 years ago I thought they were fine for some stuff, then something changed and the quality level dived. Unhelpful and rude too. Schofields and Coolair on the other hand clearly value their customers. I've also started using Brickwerks for some quality gear. For example JK CV joints have so much play in them they don't even last 500 miles. Brickwerks sell GKN Lobro CV joints which are miles better, for the same money.
We are struggling. There are a few, but not great on the digital websites. Most are “ring and pay” There are a couple that struggle with digital service. if you go there you get some bargains. mid you place an order on line it’s pot luck. There is a guy at JK called Kia, who is a member of Kombi Club. You can talk to him and get great service
