    I'd have voted plain glass but missed it by 18 minutes. Sliders are ok but Westy windows look a bit naff, I wouldn't bother mending one.

Lol i think id be inclined to agree if it was a full microbus, but after twenty minutes of walking from one side to the other and studying, I think the westie edges it....it just looks better next the rear van panel than the glass one so ive ordered some hinges. Just need to find some hollow tube rivets the right size now coz I refuse to pay a couple of quid for a pair from heritage when I know a bag of a hundred is about the same from a rivet supplier!

    Already tried hard as nails etc...

    Mine needs a hoover under the RR bed and I only have 6-8 weeks. :eek:
    First I have to sell a dinghy trailer, then I can buy a hoover, it's not so simple as people make out.

  16. I've been a firefighter for nearly 26 years....it makes me cry inside, when I think of the lovely old motors that I've cut up in the name of 'training'.....we used to have a deal with the local VW place, who used to let us have the old trade ins that they struggled to shift. .....

  17. Joddler punch ordered. Off to work now, then gonna get the n/s floor spotwelds drilled out when I get home this afternoon. It Fathers day and I woke up to a big bag of sweets and a card from my nippers, and brekkie in bed from the mrs so im in a good positive mood today :)

    Welding magnets, a 7.5kg tub of UPOL, and a large box covered in Schofields tape :)
