pancake filter

    is it better to change a bath filter for a pancake type and will it affect anything else like choke

    Don't do it.
    Pancake filters are rubbish.

  5. plus with a pancake filter you're more likely to suffer from carb icing


    If your engine is std, keep everything else std!! :thumbsup:

    yes stick with what i have as i read some can come off and cause grief
    on the side of my carb yhere is a pipe about ten or 15 mm been plugged off :thinking: any idea why
     
  8. If its on the manifold just below the carb its the vacuum source when a brake servo is fitted. Usualy plugged when not used.

    Left hand side of carb connects to vacuum advance can on distributor, if you have the correct distributor.
