original colour scheme

This is the A post on my 2 tone 79 Westy. It's been brush painted and I'm doing a bottom half respray. The way they did the original paint job (I think) was to spray it all Mexico Beige, then go over the top half in Pastel White. All of the interior is also in white. My paperwork shows the paint scheme is original.

Has anybody got an untouched original paint job and can you tell me where the division in the colours should go in this area?

I didn't think Westy's were ever in two colours?

 

That was the exact combination my 79 Moonraker was originally.

 

Unless it's from Aus, then they did what the hell they liked...
