Complete div question here. What is a PDSIT please? Whilst I found a breather pipe loose I also did a smell the dip stick test and it smelt of petrol. I've therefore been reading all petrol probs threads about carburettor testing without much comprehension. I recall the sort of butterfly things on my capris. If they didn't want to start I could take the air filter off and pour bit of petrol straight into the carb. Or you could put your hand over the top of it whilst running to blow any rubbish out. Apart from that I'm a bit clueless I did check round the carbs for leakage when checking the pipes but any damp bits didn't smell of petrol, just oil.
