    Turns out it's coming from the breather pipe that comes down from the oil filler!, i didn't realise i was above the tinware.
    But is oil from there on a new engine acceptable?.

  3. As above, have you got a stock filler, or a blingy one with a narrow breather connection?

    I had a similar issue to this. I fitted a new gasket under the filler. Also check the filler for pin holes.

  6. Yep pipe like mine ? 2E5DA971-6414-4F97-A169-7B7A09C940FD.jpeg

  7. Stock fillers still spit a bit of oil from the breather, mine does, I've seen them piped about 3" to a small air filter in the past but don't know if this is good practice?

  8. It’ll make your heating stink ;)

  9. They are supposed to be vented to the oil bath air filter as picture .

  10. I know but this is me---->

    Stock filler.

  14. Right but that pipe that goes off the bottom of filler goes to below tins ,,,, oil can go down there when filling also yeh and drip out

  15. So when your topping up oil you need to push funnel right in to filler side so it doesn’t come out that pipe

  16. Can you put a pic up of your engine bay or does it look like my picture ?

    It looks pretty much the same as yours but black and original looking. I use a funnel with a length of tube on the end.

  18. Ah good yes mine is just a newer one , is the nuttightened down on yours ok . Does oil come out of that pipe i mentioned ? Or where it connects ?

  19. Here take a look at this you tube , this might be your prob as oil can drip from here

  20. .see next vid
