Have just picked up a 73 Bay Westy with 2.0l Vege engine (couple of yrs old) and wanted to double check something. Have checked the oil to see how much is in there and the dipstick has a small metal clip on the end (approx 6cm from the end). Is this the min level indicator? Thanks
Welcome, that sound different to my dipstick but I have doubts about mine being original anyway. Can you post up a picture? I'm sure someone else will be able to confirm for you.
All sorted now, have realised that it's for the auto transmission fluid. Oil dipstick located in a different place and has standard min/max levels on. Thanks for the replies
