Norway nut job getting sentenced this morning

He only got 21 years, no wonder he grinned throughout
What does that work out to? 4months per victim?
I am not religious but I hope there is a hell and that he burns there for an eternity

 

When justice isn't justice.

I would imagine there would be a reception committee on the inside and on the outside for him - probably he will write a book and some ***** will publish is, even make it in to a film.

 

i think he should have got unconditional 'life' imprisonment - but i dont believe in the death penalty ...

'hey, here is a 21 year sentence full bed and board, no rent or bills to worry about 3 meals a day and all the exercise, drugs and education you want'

 

Who ever thought he wasn't insane should do time too. Put him in an asylum that will give him something to think about for the rest of his life. So called justice

 

21 years is the maximum sentence they can give. But they are under no obligation to let him out after that time. They can extend it indefinitely.

By saying he is sane they aren't treating his "manifesto" as the dribblings of a lunatic, they are treating it as something to be investigated, they can check his motivations, how he came to the conclusions he did and then ponder how best to counteract how he came to those conclusions.

 

Is it like this country. Where if you keep your nose clean, you only serve about half the actual sentence?
