hi everyone,
im mark from thurrock, essex

im totally new to the vw scene, and i think im pretty much in the deep end

i picked this up yesterday





a bit of work has been done by a few different owners, and there seems to be a few patches of filler that will need investigating, theres no interior, and it looks like somone has started to convert this into a camper then gave up,
its a 2.0L air cooled auto but the engine is the centre of the van at the mo

iv got a long way to go

been attacking the front today as there was surface all over the place

this si the end result after day 1

Looks like you are going to be busy - you've come to the best place to share the adventure

 

Welcome Mark, keep the faith and do a bit at a time, focus on getting it running and mot'd before you worry about finishing it, you'll loose heart if you don't that's probably why many owners have passed it on, they're easy to take to bits but it costs time and dollar to put them back.....shout up if you get stuck.
