its looking good steve, im sure theres lots of work gone into it.... have you thought about arranging delivery to your shop.. [as your out in a medieval land] for vans that are undrivable or mot failures.... you can get some great deals through shiply by people who move vehicles for a living...
I like this guy, reminds me of what your doing http://www.kustomcoachwerks.com Awesome site, they post a build thread on all there restorations so the customers and members can see whats going on and communicate, theres also live workshop cams I spend hours reading the completed projects section Hope yours turns out like this, just Norfolk folk instead of Americans
That's always been the case, hence the name. I've only had my arm twisted 2x in 6 years to fix Beetles, I try to stick to my core business.
I can't cope with reading back through 8 pages, so someone might have already spotted this, but if not:- The Lowering section on the services page says "We're happy to give you an honest appraisal of you lowering plans." You need to put an "r" in Great site, well done chap - informative and also gets your enthusiasm across. I'd definitely give you a try if I found it while looking for a mech.
PS I've changed my mind, I've just seen the pic of your pasty legs, I'm taking my custom somewhere more tanned
Ta me ducks.. People do bring them for bodywork, but 9 times out of ten they look great, but all the hard to get at bits have been skimmed over leaving me faced with wrecking something 95% nice to fix them. Jason at Dubs & Classics and I used to work together and he loves them. I do like driving them and as you know the ex had a nice one.
good call, been watching whats going on with KCW for a couple of years now, some great work goes down
reckon they'd be some more work if you took on bugs. there seems to be more of them around than campers.
I also had to be forced [gun to head]to fix beetles ,doing heater channels and floors are not as much fun and I just was not into it ,but ask me about Morris marinas and it is a different story ,funny how one car inspires us and another does not.... A car transporter trailer is a very good thing to invest in ,just to get you out of the garage and travel different places and still get paid...
Zed, how about a live feed webcam in the workshop so we can all see how it's done, it'll save you having to keep stopping like @Paul Weeding to take pictures. This should speed up progress #Zedcam
