nothing.....that's not the framing....that's either architrave or quarter round beading planted on to architrave and painted over, by the looks of it
The last 3 houses we've bought we're all purchased after people had died in them, the one before this the old guy had died at the breakfast table and been there a couple of days before the neighbour found him. It wasn't haunted but he had been a painter and decorator in his time and had ripped out all the original period feature in about 1970 and panelled over doors , stair spindles etc, then covered everything with about an inch of gloss so I would say we could feel his presence everywhere, he never joined us for breakfast though
For future reference Erms....most of the molded timber with fancy shapes etc. around doors, walls etc, is 'make up'....the structural timber is usually plain....make up is 'planted on' ie pinned on with 'lost head' nails (which as the name suggests you can't see once driven in properly)....or stuck on with liquid nails...if the work has been done recently.....
***** me it's beautiful! But think I need a daw as the cross batons seem to go where the top of the door frames should be. Bit more plastering to bee done. Oops.
No idea what I'm going to do with it. It's def a bit breezier up here now. That's decided some of the house colours.
plug a phone in , then stick the red in no5 and then try each of the other cables in no2 ...check for a ring tone .. if no joy try various combinations in the 5n2 until you get a ring tone on the phone ..
That was easy. Must've been the bones of the first time it was partitioned to put a bathroom in. I'm keeping it naked. I love it!
